Memorial Fundraising

We live on an ocean that gives us bounty, and fills our lives with beauty and wonder. We all share a great sense of respect and admiration for all the men and women who go out to sea to bring the oceans bounty home. Unfortunately, over the years there have been those who have not returned. 

The Lahave Islands Marine Museum Society will be commissioning a memorial statue to honour each and every one of those lost souls. Over the coming year we will be fundraising towards this goal. 

As part of our fundraising efforts, we are asking if you could collect and drop off all your recyclables (plastic bottles, pop and beer cans and liquor bottles) to Oickles Recycling in Bridgewater. An account has been set up to accept your donations and all the proceeds go towards the memorial.
