Mosher’s Island

Also known as Long Island or Ferguson’s Island

Mosher’s Island is home to a lighthouse (left) and a landing pad for a helicopter (right) built by the Canadian Coast Guard. The lighthouse is located at Mosher’s Head.

Here are some of the houses found on the Island. These are owned by Lemuel Mosher (left) and Robert Mosher (right). At one time there were seven homes on this Island, four are now gone.
